“I am thinking about sorting out the [defensive] problem, but overall I will completely decide what I do tomorrow,” Wenger said.

Koscielny will take a late fitness test to decide whether he will be able to play or not as he recovers from a long-term achilles problem.

“He worked quite hard physically, he looks like he is capable of playing if he survives the test. If he has no pain on his Achilles tendon, he can play. I will decide that tomorrow. At the moment, he’s not available,” commented Wenger.

The Gunners could face further disappointment if Kolasinac is deemed unfit to play and the injuries could see young defender Calum Chambers step into the back-three.

Arsene Wenger will face no FA punishment for a confrontation with referee Neil Swarbrick after Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat at Watford. Wenger was furious at the award of a second-half penalty for Hector Bellerin's challenge on Richarlison.Sky sources indicate Wenger then pursued him down the tunnel and into the referee's changing room after the final whistle, where words were exchanged. That in itself is not necessarily an offence, depending on the words Wenger used to the referee. In his post-match interviews, Wenger called the decision "scandalous".
