Liverpool agree €55m deal for Riyad Mahrez

Liverpool agree €55m deal for Riyad Mahrez Liverpool have agreed a fee of €55m (roughly £48.7m) with Leicester City for Riyad Mahrez, according to a report from beIN SPORTS in France. The Algerian, according to the report, will have a medical with the Reds tomorrow ahead of the move. Earlier today, it was reported by the Press Association that Liverpool were not interested in Mahrez and that they’d even contacted The Foxes to let them know that reports of their interest were wide of the mark. However, beIN seem to think differently and are reporting that the former PFA Player’s Player of the Year will indeed make a switch to Anfield as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho who is set to become a Barcelona player in a £142m deal.

Pritchard told Huddersfield Town TV: "I think it will be the right club for me - I have spoken to the manager a couple of times now. Just the way they play football and the togetherness of the team is a perfect fit for me."

Alex Pritchard is on the verge of a move to Huddersfield Town after Norwich City accepted a £11m bid for the 24-year-old midfielder, according to a report.

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has confirmed that Alex Pritchard pushed for a move to Huddersfield.

The club announced on Friday that Pritchard has joined Huddersfield Town in a deal thought to be in the region of £11-12m.

Pritchard scored once and set up two in the Championship this season for Norwich, after returning from a four month injury in November.

How much is Pritchard worth?

How much is Pritchard worth? How much is Norwich City midfielder Alex Pritchard worth in the current transfer market? Despite sporting director Stuart Webber making it clear that Norwich are under no pressure to sell this month, the club do still need to sell before they can buy. Norwich are in need of reinforcements for the second-half of the season and selling Pritchard could set the club up to do a lot of good business in the window. Many fans believe that a right-back, winger and a striker is still needed before the end of the month, with the club struggling to score goals in the Championship this season. With Cameron Jerome seemingly out in the cold, Nelson Oliveira is the only recognised striker at the club.

West Ham reject Swansea bid to re-sign Andre Ayew .
Three weeks into the January transfer window and the talk has been focussed more on players leaving West Ham rather than those potentially coming in but David Moyes has stood firm on his stance that he doesn’t want to part ways with any of his first-team stars. That stance has been exemplified in the report from the Telegraph that the Hammers have rejected a £14m bid from Swansea for Andre Ayew this week. Ayew was West Ham’s record signing in the summer of 2016 for a reported £20.5m when he swapped South Wales for East London but the Ghanaian is wanted back at Swansea by new manager Carlos Carvalhal. Following news of Andy Carroll’s latest injury setback, West Ham are even more unwilling to part ways with another forward given their limited options in attack. Swansea are ready to come back with another offer but will need to eclipse their club-record transfer set when they spent £15.5m on Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston last summer. The Telegraph state that Ayew could cost up to £18m if West Ham decide to cash-in. Both Diafra Sakho and Chicharito have also been linked with a move away this month.
