While a timetable for his return isn't exact, recovering from an ACL tear can take anywhere from seven to 12 months.Porzingis, 22, was averaging 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game through 48 games this season before he was injured. He was also selected to the All-Star Game, though he was replaced by Hornets point guard Kemba Walker.

"I’ll come back stronger , better and sharper than ever ." It has been just over a week since Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis suffered a season-ending ACL injury after an awkward landing against the Bucks.

But in a video message he posted on social media, the Eagles quarterback said the injury will not “stop me” and vowed to return “ stronger than ever .” Going forward, I will come back stronger than ever .

Kristaps Porzingis is staying positive after tearing his ACL in his left knee.

The Knicks star took to Twitter to thank fans for supporting him after the injury and surgery, which will sideline him for 10 months.

The injury occurred during the Knicks' Feb. 6 game against the Bucks. Before the injury, he was averaging 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 48 games this season.
