  Highly-rated Arsenal youngster tipped to leave the club on free transfer Arsenal are facing a battle to keep hold of highly-rated youngster Arthur Okonkwo this summer with both Celtic and Bundesliga side RB Leipzig considering moves. The Daily Record claims that the Arsenal youngster is currently in the middle of a contract stand-off with the Premier League side and he could depart the club this summer. The 16-year-old has reportedly been offered a scholarship alongside a professional contract, ready for when he turns 17, but the Gunners could face a battle to keep him at the Emirates beyond the end of the season. The player, who has trained with the club’s first-team squad on several occasions this season, wants to stay at the club but could be forced to leave due to the club’s contract policy. Okonkwo is widely regarded as one of the club’s best youngsters. The report goes as far as saying the Gunners believe he could make the first-team squad in the future. The England U-17 international stands at an impressive 6ft 5in at the tender age of 16 and is now attracting the interest of clubs elsewhere.

Arsenal are interested in a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul ahead of the summer transfer window. According to Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal are considering a move for Saul as they look to add quality to their midfield. The report claims that Arsene Wenger is looking to rebuild his Arsenal side and wants Saul to be one of his first signings to strengthen his side. Saul, however, is happy at Atletico and is not looking to leave the Spanish capital anytime soon. The Spaniard also has a mega contract with Atletico. His contract still has eight more years left to run and a release clause of €150m. The 23-year-old has made almost 200 appearances for Atletico and is thought to be one of the most talented midfielders in Europe. Atletico would put up a fight to keep him, unless Arsenal were willing to match his €150m release clause in the summer.
