According to Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal are considering a move for Saul as they look to add quality to their midfield. The report claims that Arsene Wenger is looking to rebuild his Arsenal side and wants Saul to be one of his first signings to strengthen his side. Saul, however, is happy at Atletico and is not looking to leave the Spanish capital anytime soon. The Spaniard also has a mega contract with Atletico. His contract still has eight more years left to run and a release clause of €150m. The 23-year-old has made almost 200 appearances for Atletico and is thought to be one of the most talented midfielders in Europe. Atletico would put up a fight to keep him, unless Arsenal were willing to match his €150m release clause in the summer.

The Manny Pacquiao fight, which was talked about and didn’t happen. The reason I took the ‘Canelo’ fight is because I got quite desperate.”

He also said that the decision was based on his ambition and dream to have a super fight and his name on the Vegas strip.

Almost two years since his last match, the knockout loss to Alvarez, Khan is making his return to the ring. This Saturday when he faces Phil Lo Greco and he insists there are no mental scars left from the last match.

“I’ve been knocked out before and I’ve come back from it, winning world titles.”

However, he also admitted to having concerns over his future in boxing after his hand surgery.

“My hand was always bad. I was quite scared to get it operated on. After the Canelo fight, I decided to get it fixed properly. It took me a little bit longer to recover from the hand op than it should have. At one stage I did think that maybe this is it.”
