Premier League clubs showing interest in Callum McGregor

Premier League clubs showing interest in Callum McGregor Callum McGregor has been linked with a move away from Celtic Park this summer with Watford and Bournemouth leading the way for the Scotsman’s signature according to the reports. McGregor has made 52 appearances so far this season for the Scottish champions and has managed to grab himself seven goals. On his way to helping Celtic achieve their seventh league title in a row, McGregor made his international debut for the Scottish first team in 2017 and his consistently good performances since have caught the eye of some Premier League clubs. Watford will be wanting to sign a midfielder as it looks like Abdoulaye Doucoure will be leaving the club this summer, and Bournemouth will be wanting to strengthen their squad once again as they aim to improve again next year and potentially fight for a European spot. McGregor has played all over the park for Celtic this year, mainly in midfield, but has put in good performances in the wide attacking areas as well as at left back when needed. It seems that if any club are wanting to get hold of Brendan Rodgers’ man then they are going to have to pay upwards of £10 million.

West Ham youngster Reece Burke is reportedly a target for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, according to The Mirror.

Earlier in the week, Rangers made the first signing of the Gerrard era, bringing in Scott Arfield from Burnley.

Gerrard now sees Reece Burke as another potential Rangers suitor and wants to bring the youngster to the Ibrox from his boyhood club, West Ham.

It waits to be seen whether the Hammers wish to cash in on Burke now or send him out on loan again to gain more first team experience.

However it is believed that should they make a move for Burke, Rangers would want the defender on a permanent deal.

Burke has been impressive while on loan at Championship side Bolton Wanderers, and he was an integral part of Wanderers staying up on the last day of the season.

Five teams want to take Harry Wilson on loan .
Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson is set to be a man in demand this summer with plenty of clubs battling to try and sign him on loan. The 21-year-old was loaned out to Hull City in January and in 14 appearances, he scored seven goals, leaving the fans at the KCOM Stadium in awe at his performances. They would obviously like to bring him back, but there are also four other sides hoping to secure his services this summer. The Birmingham Mail reports that Aston Villa, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and Rangers are all interested in Wilson, and Jurgen Klopp is happy to send him out on loan again. Klopp was impressed with the feedback from Wilson’s loan in Yorkshire, but thinks he needs more fine-tuning before being ready to challenge for a spot at Anfield. Rangers have an advantage to signing the Welshman, with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard just appointed as their manager. Aston Villa will better their chances of bringing him in should they beat Fulham in the Championship play-off final, and Steve Bruce is known to like his loan signings from big clubs. However, the guaranteed chance of Premier League football with Huddersfield may lead to Wilson staying in Yorkshire, where he’d join up with Klopp’s close friend David Wagner.
