  Everton in advanced talks to sign £30m forward Everton are in advanced talks with Bordeaux as they are looking to complete a deal to sign winger Malcom, according to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol. The Merseyside club are said to be discussing a deal that will see them pay £30m plus add-one for the Brazilian. They plan to offer the 21-year-old a five-year contract worth £80,000-a-week in order to get him to Goodison Park. Malcom has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Tottenham in the recent past but it looks like he could soon be on his way to play for Marco Silva at Everton. Solhekol says that Everton officials will meet with Bordeaux’s chairman on Thursday to try to get a deal over the line.

The 21-year-old can play in all three positions upfront and has racked up eight goals in the league already this season. According to a recent report from RMC Sport, Spurs and Bayern Munich have made Malcom ’s signing a priority in the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian is open to making a big move to a European club this summer with Serie A side Inter Milan also interested.

Tottenham have turned down the chance to sign Everton and Bournemouth target Joao Mario in a swap deal from Inter. Calcio Mercato reports that Inter are ready to cash in on the Portuguese international as they look to reshape their midfield. The Serie A side are pursuing a deal to sign Moussa Dembele from Spurs and they offered Mario in return to sweeten the deal, but Mauricio Pochettino’s men were not interested in signing the player. Mario, who spent last season on loan at West Ham, is attracting interest from both Everton and Bournemouth. Inter reportedly value the player at close to €30 million, but the midfielder could end up leaving on loan once again. The report claims that there have not been any official offers lodged for the Portuguese midfielder, but they are expecting any deals to develop imminently. Mario endured a mixed season on loan at West Ham, where he impressed in spells but failed to fulfil his potential.
