When Bruce Dreckman walked out on Guaranteed Rate Field for the White Sox-Yankees game Wednesday, he likely didn't expect to have a battle with a giant moth.

But that's exactly what happened in the ninth inning when the moth flew into the umpire's ear, which forced him to leave the game and get it pulled out.

Gross.

Dreckman didn't seemed fazed by the winged creature getting stuck in his ear. He had help pulling it out and jogged back on the field.

Shockingly, the moth was still alive and was fluttering around.

Despite the short delay, the Yankees still thumped the White Sox, 7-3.
