Sinead Pugh, originally from Tallaght, went missing from her home in Daletree View, Ballycullen on Thursday morning, November 8.

Her family say she left for work at a nearby primary school but failed to arrive.

The special needs assistant's four daughters posted detailed information about the 44-year-old on social media in the hopes of finding their mum.

Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that a body was recovered from the Rathdrum area in Wicklow and a post mortem is due to be carried out shortly.

Sinead's eldest daughter, Orlagh, 26, took to social media to thank those who helped the family in their search: "Thanks so much for everybody's kind words & help, the amount of people out searching this morning was amazing,️ unfortunately the news nobody wanted has arrived."
